WHERE IT ALL BEGAN: The 1st generation of locksmith started in Boston by Bills grandfather, working as a locksmith for the MTA out of the trunk of his car. The 2nd Generation was, the O'Conners, who ran a successful locksmith shop in Melrose Massachusetts, Bill's Mother ran the lock shop, and her brothers handled the road service. As a 3rd generation locksmith, Bill moved his family to Gilford, New Hampshire. Bill provided locksmith and handyman services to the Lakes Region out of a small shed he had built in the backyard of his mother-in-law's home. Almost 35 years later, so much has changed with A&B Lock and Security, except our customer centric values and professional services.

WHERE WE ARE NOW: We have grown to having two centrally located service locations, one being our Dover NH retail location. A crew of 10 staff, a fleet of 10 vehicles allowing us to better secure New Hampshire and Southern Maine. At A & B Lock and Security, we pride ourselves in serving all Central and Seacoast NH & ME, with the largest array of locksmith services in the area. We are very proud to provide our customers with electronic and mechanical security services from a single source for seamless systems from design to installation.
